Sunday, Sept 11th: We had a great day of diving. The visibility was down just a bit, and it was a bit choppy, but the weather was sunny and pleasant. We took the opportunity to try some sites we found recently about 3 miles out. There were nice steep canyons with sandy bottoms in about 70ft of water on the first dive. There were huge banded shrimp, a couple of curious barracudas, and some very large french angels. Our second spot was in about 45 ft of water only slightly closer to shore. A very large nurse shark is often spotted in the caves there, but not today. Visibility was lower, but the formations were very nice and the abundance of small fish made it feel like an aquarium. A nice dive spot that’s seldom visited.

Our planned diving trip was cut short by the near passage of Hurricane Omar, but we were able to get in four really excellent dives. Each site had its own charm, topography, and a wide range of sea life. The reefs were healthy and covered by beautiful soft corals and sponges. Our dives ranged from 45-85 feet with bottom times of fifty minutes plus. We saw queen angels, french angels, lobsters to name a few. The crew was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Great dives with a great company.

My wife and I dove two tanks everyday for a week, at the first of November. Every site was different and unique. The staff was professional and the service was impeccable. 55minutes on most sites at depth 45-90 feet. We will dive with this group again and recommend it without reservation.
